WEDNESDAY’S QUESTION OF THE DAY

Question of the Day: Last week, we covered best coffee in the Magic Valley – but some of us who either get up too early or leave the house too late (I’ll let you guess which one I am) never have time to make it to a coffee drive through.  And for that, thank goodness there’s a delicious selection of GAS STATION coffee in these parts!  So, for today – educate those of us who can’t find the extra 10 minutes in the morning to go get a “fu-fu” coffee – and share who you think in the Magic Valley has the best GAS STATION coffee or cappuccino!  JOIN THE CONVERSATION ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!

HOLLYWOOD

Certainly can’t blame the guy, here.  Jason Aldean has cancelled the next three concerts on his tour schedule out of respect for the victims, their families, and his fans.  Jason was set to perform this week in Los Angeles, San Diego and Anaheim – but instead will lay low and offer refunds to ticket holders.  Aldean was on stage as the final headliner at the Route 91 festival in Vegas Sunday when a gunman opened machine gun fire, killing 59 and injuring over 500.  In an interview with Rolling Stone, he said "Our first time back onstage will be a very tough and emotional thing for us, but we will all get through it together and honor the people we lost by doing the only thing we know how to do – play our songs for them," he said. "I hope everyone understands why we can't play this weekend and I'm sorry if anyone is disappointed."  The investigation into why exactly 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire into a crowd of more than 22,000 concert goers continues in Las Vegas.

Aldean isn’t the only one cancelling performances in the wake of the tragedy.  Stars with residencies in Vegas are obviously shook up about what took place – one of those being Jennifer Lopez.  She, too, has cancelled her next three scheduled performances at Planet Hollywood on the strip out of respect for the victims.  Her rep says “Jennifer is heartbroken that such a senseless tragedy occurred. Her thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.”

And doctor’s orders are forcing Bob Seger off the road.  Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band postponed the rest of their 2017 Runaway Train Tour after the rocker received doctor's orders to treat a medical issue concerning his vertebrae. On his website, Seger posted a message that reads "I'm so disappointed to have to suspend the tour as the band is on a great roll.  It's a privilege to play for our amazing fans. Hoping to be back out on the road very soon."
